About Our Organization
We mourn the passing of our long time leader and friend, Andy Gnoinski.
Concerned for the Hungry, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax exempt, non-profit organization working to fight hunger in Schenectady County. The organization is run strictly through volunteer efforts. CFH was started by a small group of individuals in 1979. It began with the realization that the need for emergency food was growing. After 45 years, CFH remains a leading force in providing essential food service programs throughout the county.
What We Do

- Sponsor the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York
- Sponsor & provide grants to Schenectady County Food Providers
